about me
Taking my first photo as a five-year-old child with my mother’s old Polaroid analog camera, I entered the photography magical world.
I used to save my money to buy negatives to experience the joy of photography.
Not having enough money to buy negatives made me look through the lens and visor more precisely and listen to the shutter sound without taking any photos, which is now the only reason for my professional and accurate look in the photography world.
To give a new color to my art world, I used to borrow my friends’ digital camera, which was a very valuable and expensive device at that time.
In 2006, buying my first digital camera (350d canon), I entered the world of photo editing with Photoshop more seriously. The Canon 500d later became the prelude to my professional entry into the world of photography.
During all these years, besides gaining experience in famous companies and studios, I managed to win various awards by participating in national and international competitions.
Certainly, participating in solo and group exhibitions was my inflection point with this art, some of which were charitable and humanitarian purposes.
In the wax and wane of experiencing all styles and branches of photography, industrial and advertising photography boosted my spirit. The result of my struggling for more than 5 years in theater and concert photography is a valuable collection of more than 50 performances on national and international stages.
In order to achieve the ultimate and highest goal of love, which is to promote it, all these years I have tried to teach my art to others, and my collaboration with countless institutions and schools started.
For me, Vahid Sharifian, photography is more than an industry, it is an art, with which you can travel through the time and record the moment to remain forever even if the events and people within that image change…
I appreciate the presence of my dear professors and friends who paved the way for my progress and success in this journey.
